Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified to join our team in Charlotte. This is a full-time role with hands-on work across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry within our well-maintained community.

You'll troubleshoot, complete work orders, assist with apartment turns, and contribute to a safe and attractive living environment. Competitive pay, on-call incentives, PTO, 401(k), and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).

Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
  • Assist with apartment turns and make-readies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items.
  • Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified Schedule

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
  • Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

  • Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments

Physical & Technical Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
  • Ability to drive a golf cart
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Background check required
