Weinstein Properties in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our on-site team at Bexley at Silverado. You will complete turn/make ready of vacant apartments and assist with work orders while helping maintain the grounds and amenities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting / repair experience is a plus.
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work towards getting certified.
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

What We Offer Our Maintenance Technicians

• Pay: starting at $19/hour | $20/hour (if you are or when you become EPA certified)
• On-call pay:
• $150/week (calls or no calls)
• Additional $150 per holiday on-call
• Quarterly bonus: Up to $980 based on property and team performance

Maintenance Technician - Make Ready Schedule

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

What You'll Be Doing as a Maintenance Technician

Physical & Technical Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
