Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our team. Qualifications

• EPA Type II or Universal certification is a plus.
• Willing to train toward HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments.
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed.
• Maintain property grounds daily.
• Help maintain appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.

Weinstein Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician - Make Ready to join our team. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity at a well‑maintained community with strong leadership, competitive pay, and excellent benefits.

What We Offer

• Pay: starting at $19/hour | $20/hour (if you are or when you become EPA certified)
• On‑call pay:
• $150/week (calls or no calls)
• Additional $150 per holiday on‑call
• Quarterly bonus: Up to $980 based on property and team performance

Schedule

• Full time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on‑call schedule with the team

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete turn/make ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Work with the team to maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification required if you are willing to train and work toward getting certified
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus!
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
