Job summary

Aero Aggregates is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and repair manufacturing equipment, improve uptime, and support plant operations. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to safety standards, and cooperation with the Maintenance Manager and team.

The technician will inspect machinery, repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, and maintain logs. A high school diploma and 3 years' experience are preferred in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in maintenance or technical role, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills; familiarity with electrical, automation, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems including conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing issues to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE; maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to prioritize and schedule tasks; respond to emergencies quickly.
• Read and interpret documents and drawings to guide repairs and upgrades.
