Job summary

Aero Aggregates in Dunnellon, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support weekend shifts. You will maintain and repair manufacturing machinery, processing equipment, and the plant's mobile fleet, applying hands-on troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in maintenance or a technical field. Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge and the ability to read drawings are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance or technical role.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and systems including conveyors, feeders, mills, and kilns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing issues to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE while performing tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, logs, inspections, and repairs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and teams to schedule tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
