Job summary

Allied Residential in Seattle, WA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in keeping buildings, grounds, facilities, and amenities well-maintained, safe, and attractive. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and unit upkeep, assist with contracted projects, and help with moves-ins and turnover, contributing to a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• One year maintenance experience or related training.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have LIHTC property experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and renovations to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify maintenance needs, determine scope of work, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment as directed.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in adhering to departmental budgets.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, grounds, and amenities.
• Assist with unit turns and preparation for new move-ins.
• Attend and participate in required meetings, safety trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
