Job Description

Job Brief: Maintenance Personnel Level II are responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency of the entire facility in a safe and effective manner. Their daily duties include building and equipment repair, as well as preventative maintenance. They communicate challenges with their supervisor to ensure all maintenance needs are addressed.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Personnel Level II

• Perform all responsibilities related to the Level I position
• Work independently depending on project complexity
• Collaborate with employees across departments to improve productivity
• Ensure materials and supplies are stocked and equipment is safe and functional
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions
• Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives, and control systems (24v DC, 120vac – 480vac)

Maintenance Personnel Level I

• Inspect and repair the building to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
• Maintain landscaping and grounds equipment
• Repair machinery following manufacturer recommendations and best practices
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, filter changes, and lubrication
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and departmental requirements
• Maintain records of work performed, repairs, and materials used
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Experience in industrial maintenance
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Basic communication skills (written and verbal)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to lift 50-55 lbs
• Ability to follow instructions and safety policies
