Concorde Battery Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level I to support our manufacturing facility through equipment maintenance, facility repairs, and light fabrication/welding projects. The role offers a path to hands-on welding and fabrication work with opportunities to contribute to critical preventive maintenance programs.

The position emphasizes troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and safe operation of shop tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Fabrication and welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperatures.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, facilities, and building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, forklifts, valves, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and equipment modification projects.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Operate common shop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, facilities, and building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, forklifts, valves, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and equipment modification projects.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Operate common shop equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.

Document maintenance activities and follow all safety procedures, including LOTO requirements.

Apprentice Welder/Fabricator Duties

• Assist experienced welder/fabricators with shop and field projects.
• Learn MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Assist with metal fabrication, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Follow all welding and fabrication safety procedures.

Qualifications

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, early morning start time
• Overtime available as needed
• Occasional weekend work may be required

Pay Range

• $19 - $23 Per Hour
