Job summary

Advance Storage Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Operator to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment used in the manufacture of steel storage racking.

You will work with team members implementing safe, LEAN processes and supporting continuous improvement in the workspace. The role requires knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems and the ability to read drawings and manuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade certification preferred.
• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or welding environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on welding equipment, saws, presses, shears, punch machines, conveyors, forklifts, and other shop equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Install, modify, and maintain machinery and production equipment.
• Repair welding fixtures, jigs, guards, and shop tools.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Work with production personnel to identify equipment improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and ASP safety standards.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and manage spare parts inventory.
• Assist with facility maintenance as needed.
