Job summary

Insight is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to manage and repair automated material handling equipment at our Fort Worth, TX facility. This onsite role runs from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and requires hands-on expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will lead by example, prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, and ensure safety while minimizing disruptions to the building and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or GED; trade school preferred; 3–5 years hands-on experience in a commercial facility/physical plant operations.
• Certification or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Facilities, Engineering, Architectural disciplines a plus.
• Lead by example with professionalism and confidentiality; strong leadership acumen.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize impromptu work, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

As a Maintenance Technician Lead, you will maintain and repair automated material handling equipment and ensure high equipment availability rates. We will count on you to use preventive and predictive maintenance processes, rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quickly restore equipment to service to support the successful operation of the Solutions Integration facility. Along the way, you will get to:

• Ability to analyze, diagnose, evaluate and recommend / perform repairs to conveyor components & other warehouse equipment

What we’re looking for

• Minimum high school graduate or general education degree (GED), trade school graduate preferred plus three to five years "hands on" experience in a commercial facility / physical plant operations.
• Certification or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in the Facilities, Engineering, Architectural disciplines a plus.
• Lead by example. Must be able to showcase professionalism and a high degree of confidentiality and leadership acumen
• Strong organization skills. Must have the ability to prioritize impromptu work assignments, manage multiple conflicting tasks within a fast paced work environment and uses efficient work methods and tools to get the job done
