Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and install production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Tennessee. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and repair or adjust machinery per manufacturer specs.

Must have own hand tools and be able to work near heat, noise, gas and chemicals. Responsibilities include line changeovers, collaborating with contractors, and ensuring GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and component replacement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Repair all production equipment as needed
• Perform breakdown analysis
• Perform general housekeeping
• Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology
• Work with outside contractors on assigned line
• Change line for package changeovers
• Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards
• Work independently under limited supervision and document work.
