Job summary

PepsiCo PBNA in Las Vegas is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to install and repair production equipment, inspect performance, and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs. You will diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs with your own hand tools.

The role requires working near heat, noise, gas and chemicals, with frequent lifting and varied movement. Weekend or holiday work may be required, and you will coordinate with contractors while ensuring GMP and safety

Qualifications

18 years or older
Pass technical assessment addressing job-critical maintenance knowledge areas
Experience with mechanical systems (gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)
Experience with product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to repairs)
Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
Experience with reading mechanical drawings (hydraulics, pneumatics)

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
Repair all production equipment as needed
Perform breakdown analysis
Perform general housekeeping
Upgrade production lines with new equipment/technology
Work with outside contractors on assigned line
Change line for packaging changeovers
Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards
Work independently under limited supervision (self-management) with documentation of work schedule and tasks completed
