Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate and perform electrical and mechanical duties on production equipment in the tile manufacturing process. You will diagnose problems, dismantle machines, adjust systems, perform electrical repairs, welding and plumbing, and conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.

You’ll follow ISO procedures and keep the work area safe and organized. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical code, and at least

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of electrical code is beneficial.
• 1 year or more industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) is required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our TEAM! As the Maintenance Technician we need someone who canmake adjustments tomachines and equipment for proper operation.

Primary Objective:

Operates and performs various electrical and mechanical duties on machines and equipment used in the production of tile.

Major Function and Scope:

• Examines machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Performs electrical repairs and installations.
• Performs welding and plumbing repairs.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
• Follows ISO operating procedures.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code. Formal PLC training preferred.
• 1-year or more industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
