Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain tile production equipment. You will diagnose faults, dismantle and repair machinery, perform electrical work, welding, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires basic computer skills, PLC training preferred, and adherence to safety and ISO procedures. The position involves standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and contributing to a safe, organized work area.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• 1 year or more industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
• Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our TEAM! As the Maintenance Technician we need someone who canmake adjustments tomachines and equipment for proper operation.

Primary Objective

Operates and performs various electrical and mechanical duties on machines and equipment used in the production of tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Examines machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Performs electrical repairs and installations.
• Performs welding and plumbing repairs.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
• Follows ISO operating procedures.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
