Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our production team. You will perform electrical and mechanical duties on tile manufacturing equipment, inspect machines, and ensure proper operation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing trouble, dismantling and repairing equipment, performing electrical installations, welding and plumbing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Formal PLC training preferred.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our TEAM! As the Maintenance Technician we need someone who can make adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.

Primary Objective

• Operates and performs various electrical and mechanical duties on machines and equipment used in the production of tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Examines machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Performs electrical repairs and installations.
• Performs welding and plumbing repairs.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
• Follows ISO operating procedures.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.

Performs Other Related Duties As Required

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical code. Formal PLC training preferred.
• 1-year or more industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

Competencies

• Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
