Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC is the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States. We seek a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and adjust production machinery, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

You will perform electrical, welding and plumbing tasks and execute preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, PLC training preferred, and at least 1 year in industrial maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical and mechanical duties on production machines and equipment.
• Diagnose machine problems and perform repairs.
• Make adjustments to machines for proper operation.
• Perform electrical, welding and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inform supervisor of equipment status and issues.
• Follow ISO operating procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our TEAM! As the Maintenance Technician we need someone who canmake adjustments tomachines and equipment for proper operation.

Primary Objective

Operates and performs various electrical and mechanical duties on machines and equipment used in the production of tile.

Major Function and Scope

• Examines machines and equipment to diagnose the source of trouble.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.
• Performs electrical repairs and installations.
• Performs welding and plumbing repairs.
• Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Informs supervisor of operational status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
• Follows ISO operating procedures.
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.

Experience and Knowledge Required

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of electrical code.
• Formal PLC training preferred.
• 1-year or more industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)

Competencies

• Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
