Job summary

MARBORG RECOVERY in Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the day-to-day operation of equipment inside the MRF. You will perform preventive maintenance inspections and troubleshoot engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines, following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and control systems and a broad mechanical skill set.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals and engineering specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance inspections and repairs on major equipment.
• Diagnose and rebuild components including balers, conveyors and pumps.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and coordinate with vendors.
• Schedule maintenance work and prioritize tasks to meet production needs.
• Ensure safety and compliance, train or lead others as needed.
