Job summary

ADM is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Enderlin, ND to safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment. The role involves a variety of duties from preventive maintenance to on-call support, with a focus on safety and quality in a production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, the ability to read manuals and blueprints, and experience using maintenance systems like Maximo.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in maintenance preferred, with knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints to understand equipment and controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and adjust production equipment
• Complete preventive and predictive maintenance requirements to ensure machinery is functioning properly
• Replace motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveying systems, pumps, and other production equipment
• Interact with peers and management to support continuous improvement of facility operations
• Promote a teamwork-focused environment
• Communicate with team members regarding equipment operation, safety concerns, and maintenance issues
• Understand and follow ADM safety, environmental compliance, and food quality requirements
• Support the goal of achieving a zero-injury culture
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety procedures
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of work areas
• Inspect equipment to ensure it is in proper mechanical and electrical condition
• Read manuals and blueprints to understand equipment and controls
• Repair and rebuild pumps, gear units, air equipment, hydraulic equipment, conveying equipment
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies appropriately
• Provide mechanical information by answering questions and requests
• Complete Maximo work orders daily and submit them to management
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule
