Job summary

ORBIS is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. You’ll maintain equipment to support production and warehousing in a safe working atmosphere, acting as front-line technical knowledge on complex automation or equipment problems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and install new equipment while upholding strong safety practices and collaborating with a growing team. A comprehensive benefits package is provided after 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant maintenance experience including hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Blueprint reading ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment uptime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control issues to keep production on schedule.
• Repair and install equipment, calibration and alignment as needed.
• Train other staff and promote safety practices.
• Maintain maintenance records and report actions using the CMMS.
