Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of progressively responsible maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to operate power tools.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and major maintenance, repair, construction, and alterations of CMHA buildings and equipment across trades.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical/structural problems and read blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance on CMHA facilities and equipment.
• Requisition supplies and materials needed for tasks based on service requests.
• May diagnose/repair CMHA appliances and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain records of work orders and activities performed.
• May plaster walls or install drywall and prepare surfaces.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
