Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking a Service Person IV in Region 2 for internal candidates. The role performs maintenance, repair and construction on CMHA buildings and equipment across skilled trades, with responsibilities including diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining work orders.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of maintenance experience, and relevant certifications such as BHMC;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational courses preferred.
• Two to three years of maintenance experience.
• BHMC and/or CDL may be required depending on assignment.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic and major maintenance, repair, and construction on CMHA buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Read blueprints and diagnose problems; operate power tools and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain work orders.
• May supervise or lead lower classified employees when designated.
• Maintain records of work orders and reports.
