Job summary

Foshee Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician IV for one of our apartment communities in Gulfport, MS 39507. This hands-on role supports daily operations and ensures a safe, well-running community.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, perform advanced maintenance, participate in on-call rotation, and train toward a Maintenance V. We value reliability, problem-solving, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems installation and repairs.
• EPA & HVAC certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong electrical and plumbing troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable responding to after-hours service calls.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• HVAC systems installation and repairs: including compressors, condensers and air handlers.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and building systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all OSHA and safety regulations.
• Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed.
• Train for advancement to a Maintenance V (Supervisor) position.
