Job summary

AbbVie Inc. seeks an entry-level maintenance technician for the UD Fill process on the B1 shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.

You will serve as a primary resource for preventive and demand maintenance within your current skill set, supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks. Responsibilities include performing preventive and demand maintenance, supporting predictive maintenance activities, and vocationally developing across multiple

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 0+ yrs experience or a relevant certificate.
• Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance.
• Ability to use basic power tools and proper hand/measuring tools.
• Aseptic gown certification or ability to obtain.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

Job Description

This is our UD Fill - B1 Shift7am-7:30pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday & every other Wednesday
This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified
• Mechanical and electrical experience highly preferred
• Industrial machine repair and maintenance experience highly preferred
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
