Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Texas is recruiting an entry-level Non-aseptic Set-up Technician for the UD Fill -A2 Night Shift (7pm-7:30am Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday). The role focuses on preventive and demand maintenance alongside Senior Technicians, with the goal of developing into a higher-level Technician.

The job offers hands-on experience with multiple maintenance functions, GMP compliance, and opportunities to learn across industrial disciplines on a night shift.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Must be able to become aseptic gown certified.
• Experience with basic power tools and measurement tools.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Windows is a plus.

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Must be able to become aseptic gown certified.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Mechanical experience preferred
• Electrical experience preferred
• Industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and set-up (preferred)
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
