Job summary

EQI Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment to keep operations safe and efficient. The role supports production uptime through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to safety standards.

The technician will perform routine maintenance, read blueprints, coordinate with teams and vendors, and document maintenance activities. A strong mechanical/electrical background and solid problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of industrial or equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and skilled trades.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Formal training or certifications preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify issues, recommend actions.
• Schedule repairs with internal teams and vendors.
• Install mechanical and technical equipment per specs to support production timelines.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and optimize performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair machinery to maintain production continuity.
• Support production staff in resolving equipment issues.
• Ensure safety standards on the production floor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
