Job summary

IPL Schoeller is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Forsyth, GA. The role emphasizes troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, performing routine maintenance, and keeping the maintenance shop organized.

You will contribute to safe, compliant production and assist in fabricating parts as needed. The position requires working shifts, and occasional travel may be necessary to support multiple plants.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment with emphasis on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and machine maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing the maintenance shop and tools.
• Fabricate parts as needed in production areas for containment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Report discrepancies to shift supervisors or management.
• Ensure quality of work performed.
• Travel as required.
• Be punctual at start times and after breaks.
• Assist with safety issues and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing and mechanical aspects of facilities.
• Promote SQF food safety standards when applicable.
• Inform Technical Manager of needed maintenance supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
