Job summary

MAPEI Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to keep production equipment reliable. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain machinery including blenders, mixers, packaging lines, robotics, pumps, valves, and pressure vessels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA 70E standards.
• Skilled in installing new equipment and modifying installations.
• Proficient in SPC: control charts, standard deviation, Cpk.
• Mechanical skills: read pneumatic schematics and troubleshoot pneumatic systems.
• Electrical skills: read electrical/control schematics, PLC hardware and Ladder Logic, electrical troubleshooting.
• Computer literate with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisors to perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Document activities, resources and completion codes.
• Analyze reports to recommend improvements for asset operability, reliability and safety.
• Request necessary repair parts as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adhere to OSHA, PSM and environmental regulations.
• Track and meet maintenance KPIs to achieve performance goals.
• Perform diverse technical tasks including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
