Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Georgia to be the first line of response for equipment issues and to keep machinery running safely and efficiently. The role is based mainly in the maintenance workshop with mobility to respond across the facility.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and assist with welding and calibration tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience, basic welding and electrical understanding.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; willingness to obtain safety certifications (LOTO, forklift, pallet jack).
• Passing IMPACT level 2 test with minimum score required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply standard symbols used in industrial documentation.
• Diagnose and repair drive-related issues for optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot bearing failures.
• Assist in motor testing, diagnostics, and basic repairs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical circuits using Ohm's law/Kirchhoff’s laws.
• Safely use multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Execute welding operations following safety and quality standards.
• Interpret welding symbols for repairs and fabrication.
• Support Maintenance and Plant Operations teams as needed.
