Job summary

GA Industries, a VAG USA, LLC brand, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Mars, Pennsylvania facility. The role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, and ensuring the facility meets safety standards.

Expect preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and coordination of major repairs with building staff. Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols.
• LOTO certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing facility maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machines and devices.
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts and perform emergency repairs.
• Align and calibrate machine parts; read and interpret schematics.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for services as needed.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
