Job summary
Sprecher brewing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and respond to facility and manufacturing equipment issues at our Glendale, Wisconsin site. You will collaborate with production leadership and other techs to improve reliability and support continuous improvement, including assisting in new equipment installations.
The role requires hands-on problem solving across electrical, mechanical, glycol, and hydraulic systems, with strong attention
Qualifications
- 3+ years maintenance technician/maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in a food/bev manufacturing facility.
- Comfortable learning new equipment and troubleshooting under pressure.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and systems technology as applied to food manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, glycol, hydraulic systems, plus PLC applications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facility and ensure safe working conditions.
- Prepare and maintain production equipment and facility systems for peak efficiency.
- Work with other maintenance technicians in a team environment.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic issues in real time.
- Support continuous improvement by addressing capacity, cost and quality.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or systems.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and spare parts inventory management.
- Comply with GMPs, SOPs and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with management to remedy unsafe conditions.
