Job summary

Base is building America’s next-generation power storage network with battery production lines and automated equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and learn to interpret schematics and diagrams in a high-growth factory setting.

You will document work, track parts, and operate safely using hand and power tools while gaining exposure to automation and robotics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance, mechanical, or electrical work experience or technical training/apprenticeship.
• Basic understanding of conveyors, motors, actuators, sensors, wiring.
• Comfort using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness to learn advanced systems like robotics and automation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
• Support corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
• Document work and track parts and supplies.
• Operate safely with tools and diagnostic equipment.
