Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. The role requires autonomy in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

You will survey buildings, perform maintenance, and inspect systems to ensure safety and reliability. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus HVAC certification or CMRP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Experience with basic electrical, hydraulic and other systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods required.
• Working knowledge of tools, appliances and devices a plus.
• Ability to navigate smart phone and electronic work orders.
• Willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, janitorial, landscaping, etc.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance and installation of systems (change bulbs, fix circuits, etc.).
• Assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Lift up to 90 lbs and stand for long periods.

Full Time Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly in a fast paced and detailed environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday

Starting Pay: $18 per hour

Experience

• Maintenance experience is
• Detail oriented
• Basic technology (smart phone/computer)
• Organizational skills
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired

Responsibilities include

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance and installation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filter furnaces etc.), assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Ability to navigate smart phone, electronic work orders
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
• ability to lift up to 90lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
