Job summary

Insight Global in Perry, GA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings, and manage work orders in a CMMS system.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and a strong focus on uptime, safety procedures, and mentoring junior technicians to ensure smooth production operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with reading electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash, and industrial safety procedures.
• Experience with electrical test equipment (voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, megger).
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules within CMMS.
• Order replacement parts and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Support production uptime and reduce equipment downtime.
• Escalate complex controls and PLC issues when necessary.
• Mentor and develop junior maintenance technicians.
