Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. — Dal-Tile division in Fayette, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Technician III. The role includes electrical troubleshooting, VFD programming and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment uptime.

You will dismantle and repair machines, perform adjustments, and apply basic machine shop skills. The team emphasizes safety, growth, and internal promotions within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced electrical wiring troubleshooting and short circuit protection system knowledge.
• Knowledge of VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and programming them.
• Knowledge of process control instrumentation and familiarity with the common PC application.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Makes necessary machine adjustments for proper operation.
• Basic machine shop knowledge (using Lathes, End mills, Drill press machines).
• Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine diagnostics.
• Collaborate with supervisors to ensure uptime and safety.
• Document maintenance activities and report critical issues.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment safety standards.

Sign-On Bonus Structure

$5,000 at 18 months
