Job summary

CCH - (Christian Church Homes) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to oversee day-to-day maintenance at a Sonoma, CA property. You will help ensure safe, sanitary housing and support a facilities team in routine, preventive, and emergency work.

Responsibilities include managing work orders in Yardi, performing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, and coordinating with the management team for vendor needs. On-site living with a two-bedroom apartment is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to caring and positive working and living environments for all employees and residents.
• Assist in enforcing safety regulations; identify and report, and/or correct safety hazards.
• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, emptying trash, replacing light bulbs, etc.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Manage and prioritize work orders in Yardi (or similar software) with managers.
• Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory within budget.
• Carry out general carpentry for apartment move-ins; cleaning, painting, repairs, etc.
• Move common space furniture and equipment as needed.
• Keep inventory of tools, safety equipment, and chemicals.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Coordinate with management to obtain vendors when necessary.
• Enter completed work orders with detailed repair information.
• Assist in training new maintenance team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
