The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a mid-level maintenance worker to perform semi-skilled upkeep across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, concrete, painting, plastering, and mechanical repair within state facilities. • Must be 18 years or older with two or more years of experience relevant/similar to the listed job functions or completion of a relevant technical training program or job certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance in alteration, maintenance, and repair of state facilities; Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Concrete, Painting, Plastering, and Mechanical repair.
• Paint building surfaces and equipment; Patch plastering walls.
• Carpentry work on furniture, doors, windows, shelves, and floors.
• Plumbing work such as unstopping toilets and drains; replacing faucets/valves/washers.
• Repair water line leaks; replace light bulbs, outlets, switches.
• Limited repairs of electrical motors/generators/communication equipment; operate tractors, mowers, skid steer, and other grounds equipment.
