Missouri Department of Corrections seeks a mid-level maintenance worker to perform semi-skilled tasks across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and mechanical repair in state facilities. You may oversee offender workers and report to a supervisor.

The role requires working in varying weather and terrain. You should have two+ years of relevant experience or a technical training certificate.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older with two or more years of experience related to listed job functions or completion of a relevant technical training program or job certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance across multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering and mechanical repair.
• Paint surfaces and equipment; patch plaster; carpentry on furniture, doors, windows, shelves and floors.
• Plumbing tasks such as unstopping toilets and drains; replace faucets/valves/washers; fix water line leaks.
• Replace light bulbs, outlets and switches; minor electrical motor/generator repairs.
