We are looking for a self-motivated and safety-conscious Industrial Maintenance Technician III with strong electrical experience to join our Washington, MO team.

Job Summary

Performs general maintenance functions, including advanced mechanical, electrical, controls, and PLC skills. Follows all safety rules and company policies. Tasks include maintaining the entire facility, with additional duties as needed. Mandatory overtime may be required.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Perform all duties of Maintenance Tech 1 and 2.
• Extensive mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic experience.
• Advanced electrical knowledge.
• Good controls troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to program various drives or willingness to learn.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, upload/download programs, and modify ladder logic.
• Basic fabricating, machinery installation, and movement.
• Read blueprints and electrical prints.
• Perform basic conduit and wiring tasks.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures per OSHA and company policies.
• Work effectively alone or as part of a team.
• Follow directions from leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Learn and utilize maintenance management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Controls and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
• Basic welding skills.
• Basic understanding of plant equipment functions.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and PPE protocols.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, sit, handle objects, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 65 pounds regularly. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and color vision.

Work Environment

Work near moving parts, in high places, outdoors, and in various weather conditions. Exposure to humidity, fumes, chemicals, extreme temperatures, and electrical hazards. Noise level is usually very loud.
