Job summary

BRAVA ROOF & TILE is seeking a Maintenance Technician III responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, with a focus on electrical and hydraulic systems. The role includes generating work orders, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating with production staff to ensure equipment uptime.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years with automated equipment and PLCs, 5 years electrical/mechanical knowledge, and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in plastic processing maintenance (Preferred)
• 5+ years with automated equipment & PLCs (Preferred)
• 3+ years work order management (Preferred)
• HVAC & boiler system experience (Preferred)
• Industrial maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
• Programmable logic controllers: 5 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Required)
• Electrical knowledge: 5 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams and control components.
• Read technical drawings and schematics (electrical & hydraulic).
• Generate and close out work orders with labor hours, parts, and equipment maintenance data.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, and conveyors.
• Perform mold changes on presses and maintain upkeeping of equipment.
• Mentor and act as role model for Level I & II Technicians.
• Coordinate with Pre-Production Managers on repairs and improvement ideas.
• Prioritize tasks and work well in high-paced environments.

Job Summary: A Maintenance Technician III is responsible for the installation and removal of manufacturing equipment as well as executing preventative and corrective maintenance programs. Serving a key role in the continual improvement and development of the department overall, they are expected to serve as both mentor and role model for level I & II Technicians.Schedule: Monday - Thursday (7:00a - 7:00p). Flexible hours required to meet business needsResponsibilities:Initiative-taker with a good attitude.
