Job summary

Brava Roof Tile is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 2nd shift at the Georgia Plant in McDonough, GA. The role involves installation and removal of equipment, and executing preventative and corrective maintenance programs while mentoring junior technicians.

Candidates should have extensive experience with automated equipment, PLCs, electrical and hydraulic systems, and strong troubleshooting skills to support molding presses and conveyors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• 2+ years maintenance in a plastic processing facility preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with automated equipment, PLCs preferred.
• Industrial maintenance: 5 years preferred.
• Electrical knowledge: 5 years required.
• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years required.

Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings and schematics (electrical & hydraulic).
• Generate and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, valve bodies, coils, etc.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, conveyors, material handling systems, etc.
• Perform mold changes on presses as required.
• Collaborate with Pre-Production Managers/Supervisor on repairs, progress, and improvement ideas.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Mentor Level I & II Technicians and work with contractors on large projects.
