Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our team at an MVW location. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting building systems to ensure memorable vacation experiences for Owners and guests.

The position requires flexibility with shifts and holidays, physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety and training standards.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Lift/carry/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Background and drug screening may be required.

• Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.
• Displays above-average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting of building systems.
• Reads, logs, tracks, and interprets readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

Typical Day

As a Maintenance Technician III, a typical day will include:

Requirements to Become a Maintenance Technician III at MVW

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
