Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at Sea Pines, SC, to perform Villa Care Preventive Maintenance and basic repairs, including painting and appliance checks.

You will respond to guest repair requests, conduct general engineering inventory tasks, and participate in safety and technical training to support memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance tasks and basic repairs.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to reach, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned, e.g., painting and basic repairs.
• Performs minor building repairs as assigned.
• Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
• Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
• Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development.

As a Maintenance Technician I, a typical day will include:

Performs Villa Care Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned. ( i.e. Basic Painting; Basic Repairs such as replacing lightbulbs. Performs temperature readings on appliances/HVAC, etc. )

Performs minor building repairs as assigned.

Responds and attends to guest repair requests.

Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.

Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.

To Become a Maintenance Technician I at MVW:

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .

Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .

Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
