Job description

MINIMUM EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trades or related areas, and an associate degree in a related field are preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Four (4) years of experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, PLC/Controls, and welding/fabrication skills through job experience, military experience, or education required.
• Certificates and degrees may be assessed by management and HR for relevancy to minimum qualifications and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to follow procedures as directed by work orders or senior technicians/management.
• Ability to interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
• Problem-solving skills in mechanical or electrical issues, including understanding engineering formulas.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/control issues at multiple system levels.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills within the department and with external vendors.
• Ability to collaborate with teams, operations, vendors, and support staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Use of hand tools and possibly power tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: This pay range ($24.15 - $37.49/hr) reflects the expected compensation for this position at the specified location(s). Actual pay depends on experience, tenure, performance, and other factors.
