Job description

MINIMUM EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area, and an associate degree in a related area preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Four (4) years of experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical systems, PLC/Controls, and welding/fabrication skills through job experience, related military experience, and/or education.
• Multiple certificates and degrees may be assessed by management and HR for relevancy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to follow procedures as directed by work orders or high-level technicians/management.
• Ability to interpret electrical or mechanical schematics, manuals, and specifications to troubleshoot and repair system faults.
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
• Problem-solving skills in mechanical or electrical issues, including understanding engineering formulas.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/control issues at multiple system levels.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with departments, vendors, and support teams.
• Proficiency with software including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Use of hand tools and possibly power tools.
• Working in hot or cold temperatures.
• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, and squatting may be required.
