Compensation:

This position is hourly. The anticipated base pay range is $32.60 to $40.72 per hour.

Position Overview:

Join our team in Gresham, Oregon at 3675 NE Hogan Drive! We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on automated material handling system components to support the Distribution Center's goals. Report to a Facilities Supervisor.
• Respond to system issues involving conveyors, PIE, sortation, and controls (EMS, WCS, Sort Director, EWM, Hardware, Software).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system components, including PLCs, DC drivers, AC inverters, linear motors, VFDs, encoders, scanners, power distribution, communication systems, and building systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for conveyors, cross belt systems, Dematic Multi Shuttle System/Goods to Person System.
• Operate all material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center.
• Work at heights and in unusual positions.
• Be available for 24-hour on-call rotation.
• Apply safe work practices, lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards, and Arc Flash procedures.
• Follow codes such as NEC, BOCA, UBC, MSDS, and OSHA standards.
• Design, implement, and document PLC programming changes (Siemens, Allen Bradley) for automated equipment when authorized.
• Troubleshoot and modify I/O device networks like Probus, Data Highway, and CanBus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of building and equipment maintenance experience, including 2 years with Dematic or similar conveyor systems.
• At least 2 years of experience with AC drives (setup, programming, faults).
• Familiarity with Microsoft and CMMS programs.
• Experience with power distribution, control circuits, electrical testing, hand and power tools, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings and schematics.
• Ability to lift, push, and slide packages weighing 50-75 lbs frequently.
• Successful completion of a maintenance skill evaluation.
