MINIMUM EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree in a related area preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Four (4) years experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in mechanical power transmission, electrical skills, and knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication, gained through job experience, military service, or related education.
• Relevancy of certificates and degrees will be assessed by management and HR.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to follow procedures based on work orders or instructions from technicians/management.
• Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical schematics, manuals, and specifications for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software for data entry and retrieval.
• Strong problem-solving skills for mechanical or electrical issues, including understanding engineering formulas.
• Ability to diagnose issues in mechanical power transmission, electrical, or PLC/control systems at multiple levels.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members, managers, and vendors.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and support teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Good time management and organizational skills.

JOB CONDITIONS

• Use of hand tools and possibly power tools.
• Work in hot or cold environments.
• Physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, and squatting.
