Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

Repairs, maintains, and operates HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, as well as performing routine maintenance with limited to no supervision.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

• Performs assigned tasks according to their craft or trade requirements.
• Participates in training programs including personal development, safety education, and technical advancement, maintaining a professional attitude toward growth.
• Operates project HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handler units, and computerized environmental control systems under supervision.
• Maintains project HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and environmental control systems.
• Tests and maintains project life/safety systems, including emergency power, sprinkler, fire alarm, and medical alarm systems.
• Responds promptly to tenant requests related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other maintenance needs, maintaining accurate logs.
• Analyzes special projects from property management, including tenant construction, cost-saving proposals, and manpower development.
• May require extended hours during emergencies.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Trade school graduate or eight (8) years of relevant experience
• Four (4) years related maintenance experience

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Training:

• Proper use of chemicals, supplies, and tools.
• Ability to work well with the public and colleagues.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and squat.

Pay Range

$20.71 - $28.48 per hour
