LB Foster is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to perform preventive maintenance on equipment, install new process systems, and train new employees in maintenance procedures. You will follow standard work methods and safety practices to maximize production efficiency.
The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including welding and plasma cutting, with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge. On-site Birmingham, AL location with growth opportunities.
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be r esponsible for performing preventative maintenance on all equipment products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Duties include preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment as needed and installation of new process equipment. Responsible for training new employees in maintenance process and procedures.
