Job summary

Ashland School District is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to perform skilled maintenance, repair, and construction across district facilities. The role includes supervising grounds upkeep and coordinating IPM programs, with after-hours responses as needed.

The position is 1.0 FTE at $21.28–$26.08 per hour and reports to the Director of Maintenance. Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, and carpentry will help maintain safe, reliable facilities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required; AAs or technical training preferred.
• Three years of maintenance experience recommended.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, and carpentry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, and construction.
• Supervise grounds keeping and IPM coordination as needed.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and ensure safety inspections.
