Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to improve system reliability and reduce downtime across assigned processes. You will support operations, interpret mechanical/electrical data, and coordinate Spare Parts/SAP documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Minimum of 3 years in regulated solid dose manufacturing.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs, PMs and maintenance documentation.
• Understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs; computer literacy.
• Experience with automated record systems such as SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned process promptly.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements in duties.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, plans and spare parts lists.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings and data sheets.
• Document all maintenance activities in SAP and related systems.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability.
• Train technicians and support squad in areas of expertise.
